Mission Statement
Our mission at Holy Spirit School in partnership with parents and community is to create a Catholic Christian environment in which the students know and love God and to provide a safe, caring, atmosphere where students develop their personal best and become contributing members of society.”

Holy Spirit School is a Pre-K – 8 school providing an excellent foundation for lifelong academic success.  Our school is operated by the parish school board and is under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Evansville.

Accredited by the Indiana State Department of Education, Holy Spirit School is located in a residential community in the Southeast area of Evansville.

Holy Spirit School is supported by the members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. No tuition is charged, but the financial burdens of the school are met partially by the parents’ commitment to the Sunday contribution to the Church.  It is also expected that Holy Spirit families attend Mass on a regular basis and are involved in at least one major parish fundraising activity.

Gabriel’s Garden, a Preschool for children ages 3 and 4, is housed at Nativity School.  Pre-K 4 year-olds  is a 5 day a week program preparing students for Kindergarten.  Pre-K meets 2 – 3 days a week with age appropriate activities.  The staff consists of three licensed early elementary teachers.
