Why choose Holy Spirit for Your Child? 

Holy Spirit is a unique Catholic educational and faith-based school on the east side of Evansville.  We are unique because we are a small family centered student community.     

Our size is right for you!  Presently we have 167 students in PreK-8.  The PreK program Gabriel’s Garden has 28 students, 17 in age 4 program and 11 in age 3 program.  All our K-8 classes have limit of 25 students per grade; most are 20 or below.

All students know each other through participation in school family groups.  We pray together with our “Mass buddies”, grouping older students with younger ones.  No student gets lost in the shuffle of numbers!

Because we are small we can readily make adjustments to focus on the needs of individual students and offer more unique student activities:   Grade 5 through 8 lock-ins every other year, at least one field trip for each grade, opportunities for leadership for all 8th grade students, opportunities for leadership in grade 5, 6 & 7 and varsity speech team/sports team opportunities for students in grade 6.  Our teachers, students and parents know each other and work together at PTA dinner meetings, field day, pioneer days and other special event days.
